To evaluate, i believe that i used appropiate colours to illustate the school in my newsletter. The colourful images and backgrounds are contrasted with the white text. My newsletters busy and full of colour to attract readers. If i was to do it again i would choose another font for my tittle and merge my pictures into the background, making the pictures joint. Overall im pleased with my newsletter, but believe i could have made it slightly more complex however then it to loose its apperance to the targeted audience. If i was to re-do my prilimanary task i would use a different background and layout more wisely. The background photo is too strong and the article does'nt stand out well enough against it- could of been better to cut that and go for a bolder headlines instead. Also 'inside the issue' skybox doesn't stand out clearly and seems a bit too formal next to the sporty, youthful photo. I would change that headline and quotes to 'smart and focused.' Tweek aspects so the main and ancillary photos work better together. Improving my language will help others understand my blog more easily, using more technical jargon. Instead of 'theres a sqaure box at the bottom right of my page' i will talk about a skybox on the bottom right ear of the page.'

Another aspect of my contents page is the mulberry structure. I used the red colour since its one of the current school colours and i wanted to exploit that throughout my magazine. The background again is another colour symballizing the school i merged the blue to white, at the top to fade into the tittle. The contents is shown in a larger box then on the previous page, i chose a large italic font to vary the font from the previous page. Making the magazine begin to look more formal.

For my contents page, theres a range of pictures illustrating the contents. Appealing to the reader to continue reading on. These elements excite the reader, to read on especially since there could be a familiar face shown on the contents page. The anticipation of possibly seeing their face. The five images are all different contrasting the new students to experienced teachers. I used the girl in the year below again for tennis as well as extatic 6th formers.
I skatered the images to have a unique display and make it more individual. The large numbers on the images are a short-cut references to the main pages.

I have used a large medium shot in the center of my page, as a background. I used a girl in the year below who is in training to become a professional tennis player. One lunch time i photographed her practising and therefore got my pictures. I took another three photos for the bottom of my front page to show other aspects of the school. The photo on the left symbollizing of our 50th Anniversary. Next to that, in the middle is the sign for our school, surrounded by trees. On the right, a picture of our main enterance and office which is recognisable to the students.

Theres a square box at the bottom right of my page. Its tittled "Inside this issue" its a small brief contents page, used to show the reader whats to come inside the issue. I was inspired by fellow students who like to know what follows the first article. To save time scanning through the newsletter, to find their wanted article.

My tittle stands for Grammar School for Girls Wilmington (GSGW.) I used two affects of different sizes to shadow the main tittle. The dark red is highlighted by the darker outline, the shadow is a lighter red to show is distance. Its a large, bold headline outlining to the audience the inside to the magazine. Its a sizable tittle, taking up around a quarter of my page.
